Summary

This study tests whether adding a therapy that involves breathing air with low and high oxygen levels (intermittent hypoxia-hyperoxia) to standard physical therapy can reduce pain and improve daily function in people with knee osteoarthritis. The trial will include 60 adults aged 45 and older who have had knee pain for at least 3 months. Researchers will measure pain, mobility, balance, and inflammation over one year.
