Summary
This early-stage study tests a new gel form of ketoprofen, a common pain reliever, applied to the skin for knee osteoarthritis. About 40 adults with knee osteoarthritis will use the gel to see if it reduces pain and improves joint function. The goal is to find a convenient, topical option for managing osteoarthritis symptoms.
