New gel injection aims to ease knee arthritis pain

Summary
This study tested a gel called Pandora, injected into the knee, to see if it safely reduces pain and improves movement for people with knee osteoarthritis. Researchers compared giving the gel in one injection versus three weekly injections to a standard single-injection treatment. They followed 252 participants for a year to measure changes in pain while walking and overall knee function.
