Which leg workout works best for achy knees?
NCT ID NCT07460466
Summary
This study compared two different styles of leg-strengthening exercises for people with knee osteoarthritis. Researchers wanted to see if exercises focusing on lowering a weight (eccentric) or lifting a weight (concentric) were better at improving leg strength, knee movement, and daily function. Twenty-four women with knee arthritis performed one of the exercise programs three times a week for six weeks.
