First seen Jan 28, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tests a new, less invasive treatment for people with long-term knee pain from advanced osteoarthritis or pain that continues after knee replacement surgery. The procedure uses a thin tube to deliver a temporary blocking agent to small arteries feeding inflamed knee tissue, aiming to reduce pain and improve function. Researchers will follow 20 participants for up to 24 months to see if the treatment is safe and effective.
