First seen Mar 08, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study follows 254 people with knee osteochondritis dissecans (a condition where a piece of bone and cartilage loosens) to see how different standard treatments work over 2 years. Participants receive either non-surgical care or one of several surgical options, based on their doctor's recommendation. The goal is to compare healing and recovery outcomes, not to test a new drug or cure.
