Can changing the air you breathe ease arthritic knee pain?
NCT ID NCT06965946
Summary
This study is testing if a special breathing therapy, which involves breathing air with changing oxygen levels, can boost the benefits of standard physical therapy for knee osteoarthritis. It will involve 60 adults with knee pain to see if the combination improves pain, walking, balance, and overall function more than physical therapy alone. The goal is to find a new, non-drug option to help manage this common joint condition.
