NCT ID NCT07210931

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study looks at whether doing your own exercise at a local fitness center works as well as supervised sessions with a physiotherapist for knee osteoarthritis. About 300 adults aged 45 and older with knee pain will be assigned to either self-managed gym workouts or standard physiotherapy. The goal is to see if the cheaper, more flexible gym option can provide similar pain relief and be a cost-effective alternative.
