Surgeons test two ways to fix a 'Hidden' knee injury that can lead to arthritis

NCT ID NCT07408323

Summary

This study compared two different surgical techniques for repairing a specific tear in the knee's shock-absorbing cartilage (meniscus). The goal was to see which method better restored knee function and delayed the development of arthritis. Forty adults with this type of tear were randomly assigned to receive one of the two repair surgeries, and their recovery was tracked.
