Doctors track kids for years after knee surgery to see if it lasts

NCT ID NCT06257836

Summary

This study is checking how well a specific knee surgery works for children over the long term. It follows 80 kids who had surgery to fix a ligament that keeps their kneecap from dislocating, using a piece of their own thigh tendon. Researchers will compare their knee function, pain, and activity levels to a group of healthy children to see if the surgery successfully stabilizes the knee.
