Could a thinner needle make your knee shot hurt less?

NCT ID NCT06865170

Summary

This study aims to make steroid injections for knee arthritis less painful. Researchers will test if using a thinner needle or a cooling numbing spray reduces pain during the procedure for 88 participants. They will also check if experiencing less pain from the shot itself leads to better pain relief and knee function six weeks later.
