Summary

This study tests a special nail made from a material that the body absorbs over time to treat a type of knee fracture called subchondral insufficiency. The nail is placed in the bone to help it heal and reduce pain. Ten people with knee pain lasting at least 3 months who are already scheduled for knee surgery will be enrolled. The goal is to see if this approach improves pain and function.
