Knee stiffness after ACL repair: does it weaken recovery?

NCT ID NCT06863610

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study looks at whether having limited knee straightening (more than 5 degrees) soon after ACL surgery affects how well the thigh muscle regains strength. Researchers will measure muscle strength and function in 30 adults who had ACL repair using a hamstring tendon graft. The goal is to understand if early knee extension loss slows recovery, which could help improve rehab programs.
