Summary
This study tested a treatment called CHONDRON, which uses a patient's own cultured cartilage cells, to repair damaged knee cartilage. It involved 22 people with cartilage defects from conditions like osteoarthritis or past injuries. The main goal was to see if the cell transplant reduced knee pain and improved function over 48 weeks, with follow-up for up to 96 weeks.
