First seen May 12, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether a special two-bar knee brace combined with strength training exercises (that don't require standing) can better reduce pain and stiffness in people with knee osteoarthritis compared to a standard brace with the same exercises. The trial will involve 18 adults aged 45-60 with moderate knee osteoarthritis. Participants will use the brace and exercise three times a week for six weeks, and researchers will measure changes in pain, stiffness, and satisfaction.
