Special brace tested to ease knee pain without surgery
NCT ID NCT05428332
Summary
This study tested whether wearing a special 'unloader' knee brace during daily activities and physical therapy helps people with front knee pain feel better. Twenty participants with knee pain who were not planning surgery were randomly assigned to either use the brace or not during their standard rehab. Researchers measured changes in pain, knee function, and quality of life over three months to see if the brace made a difference.
