First seen Apr 05, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study tested whether a connected knee brace, combined with an online physiotherapist, could improve muscle strength and reduce knee pain in people with knee osteoarthritis. 65 adults aged 50-80 who could walk without help and use a smartphone took part. The goal was to see if this home-based program could improve knee function better than standard exercise alone.
