Zap your knee pain? study tests two electrical therapies for arthritis relief

NCT ID NCT07258693

Summary

This study aims to see if combining a standard exercise program with one of two different types of electrical stimulation is better at reducing knee osteoarthritis pain and improving movement in people over 60. Researchers will compare a newer method called NESA neuromodulation against the more common TENS therapy, both paired with the same exercises. The goal is to find which combination works best to ease pain, stiffness, and fear of movement, and to improve overall quality of life.
