Summary

This study compared two different types of injections for knee osteoarthritis pain. One hundred adults with persistent knee pain received either a common steroid injection or an injection of an anti-inflammatory drug called tenoxicam. Researchers wanted to see which one provided better and longer-lasting pain relief and function improvement, while also checking effects on blood sugar.
