Sugar water vs. numbing shot: which eases knee arthritis better?

Summary

This study aims to see which of two common injection treatments works better for reducing pain and improving movement in people with knee osteoarthritis. Doctors will follow 86 adult patients for six months after they receive either a dextrose (sugar water) injection or a standard local anesthetic (numbing) injection around the knee nerves. The study will measure changes in pain levels and how well patients can perform daily activities.
