Can you walk and talk? study tests how doing two things at once affects knee strength
NCT ID NCT05893706
Summary
This study aimed to understand how performing two tasks at once (like walking while talking) affects muscle strength and balance tests in people with knee osteoarthritis. Researchers compared standard single-task tests with dual-task tests in 60 adults aged 40-65 with knee arthritis. The goal was to see if dual-task testing gives a more complete picture of a person's real-world balance and function.
