Summary
This study tested whether a new oral medication, RHH646, could help regrow cartilage in the knee and was safe for people with mild to moderate knee osteoarthritis. 82 participants took either the drug or a placebo pill daily for a year. Researchers used MRI scans to measure changes in knee cartilage volume and monitored participants for side effects.
