Scientists probe immune receptor in ankylosing spondylitis blood samples
NCT ID NCT03322618
First seen May 13, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looked at blood samples from 24 people with axial spondyloarthritis (a type of inflammatory arthritis affecting the spine) and 12 healthy volunteers. Researchers measured immune cells and tested whether a lab-made antibody called IPH4102 could reduce inflammation. No treatment was given to participants, so there was no direct medical benefit. The goal was to better understand the disease and explore a potential future therapy.
