First seen Mar 09, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looks at how fear of movement, called kinesiophobia, relates to physical disability in people with rheumatoid arthritis. Researchers will measure disease activity, pain, fatigue, mood, and muscle loss in 200 adults with RA and compare them to 200 healthy volunteers. The goal is to understand non-inflammatory factors that limit mobility, which could help improve rehabilitation strategies.
