Sticky tape tested for faster shoulder healing
NCT ID NCT07375927
Summary
This study is testing whether adding a special elastic tape (kinesio taping) to standard physical therapy helps people recover better after rotator cuff shoulder surgery. 50 patients who have had the surgery will be randomly split into two groups: one gets the tape for three weeks plus therapy, and the other gets therapy alone. Researchers will measure pain levels and shoulder movement over three months to see if the tape makes a difference.
