Summary
This study tested whether giving children a connected toothbrush, special toothpaste, and a behavioral app after they had cavity surgery could improve brushing habits and lower future dental costs. 93 kids aged 4-7 who were Blue Cross Blue Shield members took part. The goal was to see if this approach helps prevent new cavities and saves money for families and insurers.
