Summary

This study looks back at medical records to understand if starting kidney dialysis early or waiting longer is better for cancer patients who develop tumor lysis syndrome, a serious complication that can damage kidneys. Researchers will compare 800 patients treated in French intensive care units between 2013 and 2023. The goal is to see which timing leads to better kidney function recovery and survival rates.
