Summary

This early-stage study tests a conditioning regimen to train the immune system to accept a donated kidney without needing lifelong anti-rejection medication. About 20 adults with kidney failure receiving their first transplant from a living donor will participate. The main goals are safety and seeing if the body can develop tolerance to the new organ.
