Summary
This study tested whether adding the drug rituximab to standard treatment could better control a serious type of kidney transplant rejection caused by the patient's antibodies. It involved 40 adults whose transplanted kidneys were showing signs of this antibody attack within a year of surgery. The main goal was to see if this approach could prevent kidney failure and the loss of the transplanted organ.
