German doctors use machine data to predict kidney transplant outcomes
NCT ID NCT07348874
Summary
This study aims to understand if data collected by a special machine that keeps donated kidneys cold and pumping during transport can predict how well the transplant will work later. It will observe 300 patients in Germany who receive a kidney from an older or higher-risk donor. Researchers will track the machine's readings and compare them to the patient's kidney function one year after the transplant.
