Shorter drug course could reduce transplant side effects

NCT ID NCT06374095

Summary

This study compares two approaches to anti-rejection drugs after kidney transplant surgery. Researchers want to see if giving just one day of a powerful immune-suppressing drug works as well as giving it for seven days. They're looking at 75 kidney transplant patients to find out if the shorter treatment reduces side effects like infections and low blood counts while still preventing organ rejection.
