Kidney stone surgery gets a suction upgrade in new trial
NCT ID NCT05993546
Summary
This study compares two versions of a minimally invasive kidney stone removal surgery. Researchers want to see if using a vacuum-assisted tube works better than a standard tube for removing medium-sized stones. About 90 patients will have their surgery and recovery tracked to measure which method leaves fewer stones behind and causes less pain.
