Stone removal showdown: which surgical tool works best?
NCT ID NCT07247617
Summary
This study aims to find out which of two surgical scopes is better for removing stones from the upper part of the ureter (the tube from the kidney to the bladder). It will compare a flexible scope to a more rigid one in 100 adult patients with stones smaller than 2 cm. The main goal is to see which method has a higher success rate for clearing stones, while also checking safety, surgery time, and cost.
