Simple suction trick may ease kidney stone recovery
NCT ID NCT07535281
First seen Apr 23, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tests a simple change during kidney stone surgery: after removing the stone, doctors suction the kidney to make it collapse. The goal is to see if this lowers pain and infection risk after surgery. About 90 adults with kidney stones will take part, and half will get the suction method while the other half gets standard care.
