Could skipping a tube after stone surgery lead to better recovery?

NCT ID NCT05866081

Summary

This study is testing whether patients recover better after kidney stone surgery if doctors leave out a small internal tube called a stent. About 800 patients having this surgery will be randomly assigned to get a stent or not. Researchers will compare pain levels and unplanned trips to the doctor or hospital between the two groups to see which approach works best.
