One-Step kidney stone fix tested for safety

NCT ID NCT07177313

Summary

This study is testing whether a single surgery to remove a blocked kidney stone is safe and effective for patients who already have some reduced kidney function. Usually, these patients might get a temporary tube placed first, then have the stone removed later. Researchers want to see if skipping that first step works just as well, which could mean fewer procedures and faster recovery for patients.
