Summary

This study compared two ways to remove dense kidney stones in children aged 2 to 12. One hundred children were randomly assigned to receive either a minimally invasive surgery (mini-PNL) or a non-invasive shockwave treatment (SWL). The main goal was to see which method was better at completely clearing the stones and which was safer for young patients.
