New suction device tested to improve kidney stone removal
NCT ID NCT07463157
Summary
This study compares two medical tools used during surgery to break up and remove kidney stones. Researchers want to see if a newer tool with built-in suction helps remove stones more completely and reduces infections after surgery compared to the standard tool. About 134 adults with kidney stones will be randomly assigned to have their surgery with one of the two devices.
