New suction tool aims to clear kidney stones better
NCT ID NCT07463157
Summary
This study compares two medical devices used during kidney stone removal surgery. Researchers want to see if a new sheath with built-in suction (called FANS) helps remove stones more completely and reduces infections after surgery, compared to the standard sheath. About 134 adults with kidney stones will be randomly assigned to receive either device during their procedure.
