New nerve block could make kidney stone treatment less painful
NCT ID NCT07177625
Summary
This study is testing whether a specific nerve block injection can reduce pain and improve comfort for people undergoing shock wave treatment for kidney stones. Researchers will compare three approaches: the nerve block, standard sedation, and no additional pain control. They'll measure pain levels, need for extra pain medication, and overall patient comfort during the procedure.
