Laser showdown: breaking vs. dusting kidney stones
NCT ID NCT02683993
Summary
This study tested two different laser settings during kidney stone surgery to see which works better. Twenty adults with kidney stones had surgery where doctors either broke stones into larger pieces or dusted them into tiny particles. Researchers compared how well each method cleared stones, procedure time, and complications to find the most effective approach.
