Blood filter shows promise in protecting kidneys during complex heart operations
NCT ID NCT06781294
Summary
This study is looking back at data from 343 patients who had long, non-emergency heart surgeries. It aims to better understand a special blood filter used during surgery. The main goal is to see if the filter safely helps protect the kidneys from injury after surgery and to check if it affects other important medications given during the operation.
