Doctors test 3-Part 'Crystal Ball' to spot kidney failure in sick kids
NCT ID NCT03541785
Summary
This study is testing a new three-part tool to help doctors better predict which critically ill children are most likely to develop serious kidney injury. The tool combines a risk score, a urine test, and a simple medication challenge. The goal is to identify kids who will need dialysis sooner, so doctors can start treatment earlier and potentially improve outcomes.
