First seen Jan 31, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study looks at how well a test measures the kidneys' extra filtering ability, called renal functional reserve. Up to 50 adults, both healthy and with stable kidney problems, will drink a protein shake and provide blood and urine samples over three visits. The goal is to see if this test is reliable enough to use in future research on chronic kidney disease.
