First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This early-stage study is testing a new antibiotic called Cefiderocol/Xeruborbactam in 40 adults with different levels of kidney function, including those on dialysis. The main goal is to see how safe the drug is and how the body processes it. Participants receive a single dose of the drug by IV, and researchers monitor side effects and drug levels in blood and urine. This study does not aim to treat an infection, but to gather important safety information for future use.
