First seen Dec 10, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study looked at how a single dose of the antibiotic combination ceftibuten/VNRX-7145 moves through the body in 32 adults with normal kidney function, mild to severe kidney problems, or end-stage kidney disease on dialysis. Researchers measured drug levels in the blood and checked for side effects. The goal was to understand how kidney function affects the drug's processing, not to treat any disease.
