Scientists search for hidden clues in gut and blood to solve kidney disease mystery

NCT ID NCT04924712

Summary

This study aims to understand the causes of a serious kidney disease called idiopathic nephrotic syndrome (INS). Researchers will compare samples from 30 patients with INS to patients with other kidney diseases. They will look for differences in gut bacteria and specific immune cells in the blood to see if these are linked to the disease.
