New device tested to simplify dialysis access surgery
NCT ID NCT03708562
Summary
This study tested a medical device called the everlinQ System, which creates a connection between an artery and a vein for patients who need dialysis. The goal was to see if using a different vein location could make the procedure easier or more successful. Researchers followed 24 patients for up to a year to check if the connection worked well for dialysis and to monitor for any problems.
