New ultrasound technique spots hidden kidney damage in young cancer survivors

NCT ID NCT07313878

First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study tests a new ultrasound technique called ULM to find early signs of kidney damage in children and teens who have been treated for acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). About 30 survivors will be scanned to see if the method can detect problems before standard tests do. The goal is to catch kidney issues earlier so doctors can start protective treatments sooner.
