New drug combo aims to save kidneys in tough cancer cases

Summary
This study is testing if a combination of two drugs, pucotenlimab and vorolanib, can shrink kidney tumors before surgery. The goal is to make it possible for surgeons to remove the cancer while saving the healthy part of the kidney in patients where this is normally very difficult. Researchers will measure how well the tumors respond to the drugs and how safe the treatment is.
